High Yield Floating Rate, Backed By Bank Loans

Bill Gross, who leads Pimco, said: "The dollar is weak and getting weaker as we move through 2007. The Pimco Floating Rate Strategy Fund [Symbol: PFN] offers another good opportunity. It yields 8.9%. It is a floating-rate bank-loan fund, and therefore a defensive holding if rates move higher. It provides first-lien protection if a company falters."
